- Green Sedge Comments:
- Due to its free roaming the nymph is often exposed to the trout. Color the tippet tan to imitate the anchor line and fish the rapid sections of streams.
The quick emerging fuscula offers little exposure to trout so it doesn't pay to imitate this phase.
The returning adult fuscula dives to the bottom to lay eggs, then drifts long distances apparently exhausted. An under water adult pattern can be very effective in this situation.
